Hi Howie,

Alice Yen suggested I be in touch in regards to an internship opportunity for Duke students.

I'm with the team at Zaarly, where we're building the best local commerce platform the world has ever seen. We're a buyer-powered marketplace - if you've ever said, "I'd pay $___ for ____," then Zaarly is for you.

I run our college program, Zaarly U. Currently, we're at 25 campuses across the country - from Ohio State to Syracuse to Georgetown and Stanford. A lot of brands do college rep programs, but we're looking to do something bigger and better. We really think Zaarly can be the basis for a student to run a small business around. And, having just graduated myself this spring from Miami University, I'm very set on making this the best experience for every student we work with.

The opportunity for a Duke student is to be the Zaarly Campus CEO. They'll work to build a new marketplace on campus, team up with other students and organizations in doing so, and work on nearly all aspects of a business - from marketing to digital strategy to operations - to ensure the success of their new venture. Pay is based on goals met within the program - we expect our top Campus CEO's to earn a few thousand dollars this year. And, our Top 3 students will be flown out to San Francisco this Spring for a Board Meeting with Meg Whitman and our team.

The job description and application is available here: http://www.zaarly.com/jobs?jvi=oPG8Vfwi

Interested students can also e-mail me (dannys@zaarly.com) or feel free to give me a call (614-795-1166)

Thanks Howie - happy to answer any questions you might have. I really think this is a great opportunity for the right student, so I'd appreciate any help you can give in spreading this opportunity to the right communities on campus!

Thanks
-Danny Sauter
